Summary: A US powerhouse litigation firm in London is seeking a Litigation & Arbitration Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting lawyers in various dispute resolution processes, including arbitrations and litigation. The position offers a salary of £35,000 and includes hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will assist in document management, legal research, and case tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, organise, summarise, and index documents/chronologies for cases.
- Draft correspondence, disclosure requests and responses, and other related documents.
- Prepare and maintain documents and bundles for hearings, including pagination.
- Make regular trips to court to file documents.
- Conduct business and legal research using online resources.
- Take notes of calls, meetings, and hearings, and track cases online.
- Identify and highlight relevant case law.
Key Skills:
- University degree (2.1 or above desirable) or similar qualification.
- GDL and LPC essential if original degree is not in a legal discipline.
- Deferred Training Contract secured.
- 1+ years’ commercial litigation/international arbitration paralegal experience.
