Summary: A US powerhouse litigation firm in London is seeking a Litigation & Arbitration Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting lawyers in various dispute resolution processes, including arbitrations and litigation. The position offers a salary of £35,000 and includes hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will assist in document management, legal research, and case tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organise, summarise, and index documents/chronologies for cases.
  • Draft correspondence, disclosure requests and responses, and other related documents.
  • Prepare and maintain documents and bundles for hearings, including pagination.
  • Make regular trips to court to file documents.
  • Conduct business and legal research using online resources.
  • Take notes of calls, meetings, and hearings, and track cases online.
  • Identify and highlight relevant case law.

Key Skills:

  • University degree (2.1 or above desirable) or similar qualification.
  • GDL and LPC essential if original degree is not in a legal discipline.
  • Deferred Training Contract secured.
  • 1+ years’ commercial litigation/international arbitration paralegal experience.

Salary (Rate): £35,000
