Summary: An experienced Linux & Windows Infrastructure Engineer is needed for a large organization in Felixstowe, starting ASAP. 6 months initially, Felixstowe (Suffolk)

Bench IT require an experienced Linux & Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join a large organisation starting ASAP. This will be working predominantly onsite in Felixstowe and also with hybrid working.

The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below:

  • Expertise in any of the following Linux operating systems: Red Hat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux
  • Command-line interface (CLI) skills and Shell Scripting
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and desktop environments, with a strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience in IT with a background in a support role, technical support or technical consultancy. Knowledge of computer architecture and the fundamentals necessary to influence the way that the company utilises computer systems
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
