Linux/Unix Engineer

Summary: Short-term requirement for technically strong Unix engineers with Solaris expertise, capable of operating independently in a controlled, production environment to support exit delivery. The role requires active SC Clearance and is targeted at sole UK nationals. Key Responsibilities:

• Support a security-critical production estate including Legacy Solaris platforms.
• Administer Linux and Solaris systems, ensuring system stability and production support.
• Perform performance troubleshooting, patching, and system management.
• Execute incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Manage system patching, upgrades, and life cycle management.
• Provide production support in live enterprise environments.
• Utilize scripting and automation for system management tasks.
• Work within a secure, audited, and highly regulated infrastructure.
