Summary: Atrium EMEA is seeking a Linux Technical Specialist for a contract role with a leading IT services consultancy, specifically within the financial services sector. Candidates must have recent experience in top financial services companies and be located within a commutable distance to Fleet, Hampshire. The position requires a mix of technical skills, particularly in RHEL and scripting, and mandates on-site work two days a week. The contract is initially set for 12 months with a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with RHEL 8 and 9
- Utilize Sudo and Automation
- Develop scripting skills, particularly in Python
- Engage in Jenkins delivery (nice to have)
- Manage JBoss v7 & v8, Java 17, 21
- Integrate with tools such as CyberArk
- Join RHEL to AD domains
- Utilize knowledge of ELK Stack (nice to have)
- Perform Shell Scripting
- Use Ansible and Jenkins
- Manage incidents and changes using ServiceNow service management system
Key Skills:
- Experience with RHEL 8 and 9
- Proficiency in Sudo and Automation
- Scripting skills in Python
- Familiarity with Jenkins delivery (nice to have)
- Knowledge of JBoss v7 & v8, Java 17, 21
- Experience with CyberArk integration
- Ability to join RHEL to AD domains
- Understanding of ELK Stack (nice to have)
- Shell Scripting expertise
- Experience with Ansible and Jenkins
- Knowledge of ServiceNow service management system

Atrium EMEA are supporting a world leading IT services consultancy in their search for a Linux Technical Specialist for a contract with a top UK financial services organisations. To be considered, you must have recent experience working for top financial services companies and live within a commutable distance to Fleet.
Day rate: £500-£550 per day (inside IR35)
Location: 2 days per week in Fleet, Hampshire. This is a mandatory requirement and will not be negotiated.
Duration: 12-month initial contract
