Summary: The Linux System Administrator role is focused on managing and maintaining on-premise data centers, with a strong emphasis on Linux systems and enterprise storage technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Run and maintain on-premise data centers.
- Manage enterprise storage including ISCSI and SAN technology.
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible and Foreman.
- Handle IP networking, DNS, and firewalling.
- Develop scripts using Python and shell commands.
- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Lead remediation projects in a PCI-DSS certified environment.
- Collaborate across teams using ITSM tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS).
- Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies.
