Summary: The Linux System Administrator role at iXceed Solutions involves managing and maintaining on-premise data centers with a focus on Linux systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Run and maintain on-premise data centers.
- Manage Linux systems (Ubuntu / Centos).
- Handle enterprise storage including ISCSI and SAN technology.
- Utilize automation tools (Ansible, Foreman, etc.).
- Implement knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling.
- Work with Python, shell scripts, and command-line tools.
- Apply knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Lead remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.
- Collaborate across teams and organizations using ITSM tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu / Centos).
- Experience with enterprise storage technologies (ISCSI, SAN).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Foreman).
- Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms, ideally AWS.
