Linux Redhat Specialist

Summary: The Linux/Redhat Specialist role involves providing technical leadership within the Faculty IT & Partnering Group at a higher education institution in London. The position requires leading complex projects to enhance teaching and research through bespoke technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on Linux administration and virtualized environments. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership within the Faculty IT & Partnering Group.
• Lead on high-priority and complex work delivering maximum value to teaching and research.
• Responsible for the implementation of IT solutions and leading the project's technical implementation team, including detailed design activities.
• Design and deliver bespoke or specialist technology solutions to Faculties across the University.
• MUST HAVE - Linux Administration/Networks/VMware virtualised environments.
