- Follow IT service management (ITSM) processes including incident, change, release, and problem management

- Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix (academic, personal, or professional experience)
- Basic experience with Java applications or middleware (development or support)
- Understanding of web services and APIs (REST or SOAP)
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries and understand database concepts

- Good communication skills (spoken and written English)
