Summary: The role of a Linux Engineer involves assisting with Linux upgrades and business-as-usual (BAU) tasks. The position requires a proactive individual with strong experience in patching, configurations, and issue resolution. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, spending three days in the office. This is a contract position lasting over three months with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Linux upgrades (versions 7 - 8) and BAU tasks.
- Perform patching, configurations, and issue resolution.
- Work three days in the office as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Skills:
- Linux migration/upgrade experience.
- Patching experience.
- Experience with Satellite.
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies.
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with AWS/Containerisations (bonus, not essential).
