Linux Engineer

Summary: Jefferies is seeking an experienced Linux DevOps/SRE engineer to join their Linux team, focusing on automating infrastructure technology functions and services. Key Responsibilities:

• Automate infrastructure build processes using Ansible and Terraform.
• Utilize Amazon's cloud services for technology needs.
• Manage projects from inception to completion with strong organizational skills.
• Work with critical infrastructure and understand project priorities.
• Develop and manage immutable infrastructure and idempotent scripting.
• Automate software deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Handle user and application support, including account management and security updates.
• Provide production support, including incident management and performance monitoring.

Key Skills:

• Experience with automation in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, EBS, and AMI management.
