Key Responsibilities:
- Unix Administration and troubleshooting skills, including LVM and user management.
- Troubleshooting filesystem and user access issues.
- Deep understanding of UNIX OS and troubleshooting various UNIX OS issues.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Chef and powerbroker technologies.
- Experience with AWS/cloud technologies is advantageous.
- Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of UNIX issues.
- Coordination with vendors like Linux and Oracle for hardware/software issues.
- Understanding and troubleshooting experience with Veritas volume manager and Veritas cluster.
- Basic Tivoli Storage Manager Client administration and troubleshooting backup failures.
- Good understanding of network connectivity and protocols related to UNIX.
- Exposure to ticketing tools like Service Now.
- Experience working with DNS, FTP, and NFS.

Linux Engineer Role Description/requirements:
- * Bachelor’s degree in technology with working experience in Unix
