Summary: The role of Linux Engineer - eLUX involves providing expertise in Linux systems, specifically focusing on endpoint computing with eLUX, a Citrix product. The position requires the engineer to support a project aimed at delivering Virtual Desktop and Desktop as a Service for a bank's global End User Computing team. The engineer will be responsible for uploading new builds, conducting testing, and troubleshooting core coding on Linux systems. The contract is for 6 months with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Linux expertise for endpoint computing with eLUX.
- Support the delivery of Virtual Desktop and Desktop as a Service.
- Upload new builds and conduct testing and remediation.
- Troubleshoot core coding on Linux systems.
- Implement device-based and user-based authentication phases.
Key Skills:
- In-depth experience with Linux systems.
- Expertise in eLUX (Citrix product).
- Experience in endpoint computing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux coding.
- Networking knowledge related to voice and video traffic management.
Salary (Rate): £550.00/daily

Contract for an experienced Linux Engineer who has in-depth endpoint experience with ELUX (a Unicon product that is now part of Citrix) to join a project delivering Virtual Desktop and Desktop as a Service for a banks global End User Computing team.
120k elux devices, want to offload voice and video traffic from core network
Phase 1 - device based authentication (being tested)
Phase 2 = user based authentication
Need linux SME to upload the new builds, systems and run testing / remediation + troubleshoot core coding on linux.
