Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-prem/public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate.
  • Drive cloud solutioning activities for large complex migrations.
  • Design and build Azure Landing Zone activities.
  • Provide Azure target architecture, BoM pricing, and licensing details.
  • Migrate on-premise workloads to Azure and troubleshoot Azure & Linux environments.
  • Define and realize end-to-end solution architecture addressing business processes and specifications.
  • Manage storage devices, logical volumes, and file systems in Linux environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking, DNS, and email delivery on Linux systems.
  • Optimize web server traffic and tune system performance.
  • Provide guidance to other engineers and conduct root-cause analysis on complex issues.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture and Cloud Solution Architecture.

Linux Architect – Azure

Location: London, UK - Occasional visit

6 Months contract with possible extension

12+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5+ years of experience on Azure Infra, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking mainly Azure IaaS/PaaS, DC, Cloud, Security, SIAM and Data/Storage areas Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM. Should have worked with the team size of above 5 Infra, technically guided, managed and governed the team.

Primary skills:

  • Expertise in On-prem/Public cloud Infra assessments using Azure Migrate
  • Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration
  • Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy, stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering Business, Application and Infrastructure as well as commercial aspects (in terms of value for money and not commercial costing etc.)
  • Working experience with various industry domains like banking, healthcare, Insurance
  • Understanding customer Infra landscape.
  • Design and build Azure Landing Zone activities.
  • Clear understanding of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment).
  • Provide the Azure target architecture and its BoM pricing and licensing related details.
  • Azure Target Solutions architect Diagram (all Azure services ) including HLD & LLD .
  • Migrating on premise workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
  • Troubleshooting experience with Azure & Linux environments (Processor, networking, clusters, IO, memory etc. related issues)
