Summary: The Lighting Control Engineer role involves supporting major UK transport infrastructure projects through the design and delivery of lighting control systems. The position requires a thorough understanding of building lighting systems and the ability to work autonomously with key clients. The engineer will be responsible for interpreting customer specifications and coordinating the delivery of various project components. This role is hybrid, requiring monthly visits to the client office in Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineering of lighting control systems for various building types.
• Interpret customer specifications to develop comprehensive scope packages.
• Coordinate delivery of project components with external suppliers and internal resources.
• Conduct pre-sales technical surveys and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Carry out system commissioning and attend coordination meetings as necessary.

Key Skills:

• Electrical installation and control panel knowledge.
• HVAC control system awareness.
• Lighting control software development expertise.
• Knowledge of Siemens BMS/Lighting equipment/systems preferred.
• Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Significant industry experience in control and automation.
