Summary: The Product Lifecycle Manager - Aftermarket role is focused on leading high-impact projects that influence the future of aftermarket parts and services. This position requires overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction to product retirement, with an emphasis on driving measurable growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major NPI and product deletion projects, ensuring alignment with product strategy, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and implement repair and service solutions that drive parts sales and customer retention.
- Own the aftermarket lifecycle for your product group-covering branding, IP, supplier agreements, serviceability, and design changes.
- Create total cost of ownership models and deliver revenue improvement analysis to support business cases.
- Champion continuous improvement, using key metrics to drive parts revenue and POPS (percentage of parts sales) growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain, and more to embed aftermarket needs into product design.
- Influence at all levels, educating stakeholders and driving Built-in Quality (BIQ) initiatives to support long-term parts growth.
Key Skills:
- A degree or equivalent experience in an Aftermarket or Engineering environment.
- Proven experience in Lifecycle Product Management within spare parts or service.
- Strong knowledge of NPI, product deletion, design change, and aftermarket systems.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- A self-starter mindset with top-tier organisation, prioritisation, and change management abilities.
- Ability to analyse data and apply insights to drive strategic decisions.
