The role
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The purpose of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer role is to provide a CRS signature as required, for all work carried out on company aircraft when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

• Airworthiness of all aircraft
• Supervision of inspectors and technician line and hanger duties
• Ensuring all H&S standards are complied with to regulatory standards
• Reporting into line management and stakeholder in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Training, developing and mentoring staff.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Aldergrove.
Essential experience of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer:

• Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
• Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.

Qualifications for the Licensed Aircraft Engineer:

• CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.
• Driving Licence.
• Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Terrorist Check (CTC) and DBS security clearance for this role.
