The role
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The purpose of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer role is to provide a CRS signature as required, for all work carried out on company aircraft when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Airworthiness of all aircraft
- Supervision of inspectors and technician line and hanger duties
- Ensuring all H&S standards are complied with to regulatory standards
- Reporting into line management and stakeholder in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Training, developing and mentoring staff.
Essential experience of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer:
- Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
- Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
- CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.
- Driving Licence.
