Summary: The Legal Services Apprentice will provide administrative support to the Legal Services Team, focusing on tasks such as managing Requests for Information and assisting with various claims. This role is designed for individuals eligible for apprenticeship funding and aims to develop skills in customer service and data analysis. The apprentice will receive on-the-job training and supervision while working in a dynamic legal environment within the NHS. The position supports the achievement of a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Legal Services Team.
- Support the Request for Information (RFI) team and manage claims related to Clinical Negligence, Employee Liability, Public Liability, and Compensation and Losses.
- Input Requests for Information (RFIs) onto Datix.
- Handle telephone calls and messages as appropriate.
- Write letters using provided templates.
- Develop skills in data analysis and presentation.
- Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant training sessions.
- Work under the guidance of the Legal Services Manager and Head of Legal Services.
