Summary: The role of Legal PA at a Top 20 International law firm in Central London involves providing comprehensive support to a busy Partner and Senior Partners within the IP practice group. The position requires managing schedules, organizing travel, and handling document management while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and clients. This is a full-time, hybrid position on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will possess extensive PA experience and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage diaries, anticipating and handling all scheduling needs
- Prioritise, check, and summarise emails daily: create action points
- Arrange travel, including hotels and transport bookings
- Manage own workload, working independently and proactively
- Organise document management (file opening, archiving, and electronic/paper filing)
- Understand the billing process and assist with billing tasks using 3E
- Undertake typing tasks from dictation or handwritten changes
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
Key Skills:
- Extensive PA/secretarial experience at Partner level
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Typing speed of 70 wpm
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and document management systems
- Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Familiar with general office systems (eg filing)
