Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on agreements for procurement of goods and services, including IT contracts and research collaborations.
  • Providing day-to-day legal advisory to internal stakeholders on complex legal matters.
  • Collaborating effectively with various stakeholders, including scientific clients and service teams.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of legal processes.
  • Traveling to Heidelberg, Germany, as needed for alignment with the Legal Services team.

Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
  • A law degree or equivalent qualification, with the ability to practice law.
  • Solid experience in commercial contracts, particularly in procurement.
  • Excellent legal drafting and writing skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal research.
  • Ability to handle multiple legal matters simultaneously.
