This position requires a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with substantial experience in commercial law. The role is based in Devon with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice to internal clients.
• Identifying and assessing legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal agreements.
• Liaising with external law firms and managing contract processes.
• Advising on governance matters and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Keeping up to date with legal developments and identifying areas for improvement.
• Supporting the development of efficient legal processes and workflows.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales.
• Substantial post-qualification experience in commercial/contract law.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage legal risk.
• Excellent technical legal skills, including research, analysis, and drafting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
