Legal Counsel

Summary: The Legal Counsel at Brunel Pension Partnership Limited will support the Director of Risk & General Counsel in managing the organization's legal affairs and risks. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Risk & General Counsel in managing legal affairs and risks.
• Provide legal advice across a wide range of areas, including regulated procurements, commercial contracts, and data privacy.
• Assist with Freedom of Information Act requests and advise on the Data Protection Act 2018 implications.
• Conduct horizon-scanning for changing legal obligations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Facilitate legal advice from the Director of Risk & General Counsel to colleagues.
• Research and disseminate information on applicable laws and regulations, particularly those from the FCA.
• Provide advice on contracts, including employment contracts and procurement documentation.
