Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Risk & General Counsel in managing legal affairs and risks.
- Provide legal advice across a wide range of areas, including regulated procurements, commercial contracts, and data privacy.
- Assist with Freedom of Information Act requests and advise on the Data Protection Act 2018 implications.
- Conduct horizon-scanning for changing legal obligations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Facilitate legal advice from the Director of Risk & General Counsel to colleagues.
- Research and disseminate information on applicable laws and regulations, particularly those from the FCA.
- Provide advice on contracts, including employment contracts and procurement documentation.
