Summary: The role of Legal Counsel at a fast-growing FTSE 250 Food and Beverage company involves providing legal support for a range of corporate and commercial matters. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers the potential for permanent placement and requires a qualified individual with significant experience in an in-house legal team. The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days a week in the Buckinghamshire office, and is open to part-time candidates. The successful candidate will be involved in diverse legal work, including contracts, compliance, and brand protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support corporate and commercial legal work including commercial contracts and franchise agreements.
- Handle compliance, technology agreements, marketing and advertising, joint ventures, data protection, and brand protection matters.
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit legal team.
- Provide support and development for junior team members.
Key Skills:
- Qualified in England and Wales.
- Minimum of 5 years’ PQE at Legal Counsel level.
- Experience in a dynamic in-house legal team.
- Knowledge of corporate and commercial matters in the food and beverage, hospitality, leisure, and/or retail sectors.
- Interest in mentoring junior team members.
