Legal Counsel - £50-52k - 10mth FTC

Summary: The role of Junior Legal Counsel involves providing legal support for commercial contracts within a global professional services business during a 10-month maternity cover. The position requires in-house legal experience and entails drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements, as well as advising on contractual terms and assisting with litigation matters. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the Central London office. A qualified lawyer with at least 1 year PQE is preferred, although all levels will be considered based on merit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements.
• Assisting the business in negotiations with clients and suppliers.
• Advising on contractual terms to ensure successful deal conclusions.
• Handling ad hoc queries related to the sector.
• Reviewing contracts in areas such as IT, marketing, and employment.
• Assisting with litigation matters, including responding to basic county court claims.

Key Skills:

• Qualified lawyer with at least 1 year PQE.
