Service Care Legal are working in partnership with the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry. We are currently recruiting Legal Advisor / Researchers to join the Inquiry's legal team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a statutory Public Inquiry of national significance, focused on the protection of human rights and delivery of public accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal analysis across high volumes of documentary evidence
  • Identify and recover relevant evidence and potential witnesses
  • Read into materials to develop lines of inquiry
  • Take witness statements or direct statement takers
  • Assist in the drafting and implementation of Inquiry procedures and protocols
