Job Title: Lecturer in Engineering An exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers by teaching technical engineering and related subjects across both Further and Higher Education levels! The Lecturer in Engineering is a dynamic role involving the delivery of high-quality engineering education, with the integration of essential English and maths skills where appropriate. Responsibilities also include course leadership and actively shaping curriculum development and innovation within the department.

Essential Qualifications: Possess a Level 5 qualification or higher and/or a relevant professional qualification, or equivalent. English and Mathematics: Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (e.g. GCSE Grade 4/C or above, CSE Level 1, O-Level Grade C or above, or Level 2 Adult Literacy/Numeracy, or equivalent). Teaching Qualification: Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards completion within three years of employment or within three years of the first available course. Hold an HNC, HND, or higher-level qualification in an engineering discipline.

Essential Experience: Proven experience within the mechanical or manufacturing engineering sector. Competent in using CAD and/or other relevant design software tools. Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or mentoring capacity.
