• Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week: Monday, Thursday, Friday)

We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Art and Design to deliver A-Level Graphics & 3D Design at our Sussex Campus. This part-time role involves teaching on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Fridays from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM. The position is initially for ongoing sick cover, with the potential to extend until the October half term, although this extension is not guaranteed.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures in A-Level Graphics & 3D Design.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students' work, providing constructive feedback to foster their artistic and design skills.
• Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and learning.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching Art and Design, specifically in Graphics and 3D Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in relevant design fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and inspire students.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
