Summary: St Peter’s Primary School in Epping is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Officer to assist students with learning difficulties and social-emotional challenges. Role Description/Criteria St Peter’s Primary school in Epping is seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer to work in our school.The position classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 as Education Support Category B. Fixed term- 12 months The hours of employment for this position will be spread over 5 days 9-1.30pm.This position will commence the start of Term 2, 2026
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful applicant will:
- demonstrate a passion for working with children.
- demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively and support the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties.
- demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges.
- possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity to support students with significant learning or behavioural challenges.
Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a prerequisite.
The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check, Police check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.
