Summary: We are looking for a Learning Architect to design and develop a user-centric learning system with a modern front-end interface for a digital learning platform focused on energy transition in the oil and gas sector. The role involves leading the architecture, configuration, and deployment of the platform, emphasizing user experience and operational scalability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the system meets learning needs and integrates effectively with existing platforms. Proven experience in learning architecture and UX design is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of a digital learning ecosystem tailored for energy transition initiatives.
- Develop user journey maps and wireframes for a seamless UX, incorporating learner feedback loops and performance analytics.
- Define system architecture and integrate with enterprise platforms (e.g., HRIS, LMS, SCORM/xAPI engines).
- Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and IT to align learning needs with system functionality.
- Ensure the front-end design is intuitive, responsive, and accessible across devices and geographies.
- Manage selection and configuration of third-party tools or platforms if applicable.
- Implement gamification, tracking dashboards, and personalized learning paths to drive engagement.
- Oversee testing, piloting, and iteration of the system before full-scale deployment.
- Establish governance models, user permissions, and data security protocols aligned with industry standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Learning Architect, UX Designer, or Digital Learning Consultant within large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and digital pedagogy.
- Demonstrable experience designing learning systems or platforms, ideally in an oil & gas, utilities, or engineering environment.
- Skilled in UX/UI tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Axure), with a portfolio of learner-centric designs.
- Familiarity with LMS, LXP, SCORM/xAPI integration, and learning data analytics tools.
- Proficient in front-end development collaboration and able to translate pedagogical needs into technical requirements.
- Understanding of system integration, data privacy (GDPR), and content accessibility (WCAG 2.1).
