The Greater London Authority (GLA) are looking for a Learning and Organisational Development Adviser.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and analytical L&D professional who enjoys combining learning expertise with data-driven decision making.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in reviewing, evaluating and improving the organisation's learning and development offering. You will use insight from learning data to identify trends, monitor compliance, measure effectiveness and help shape future learning initiatives.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in learning and development, learning analytics, leadership development or organisational development who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects from day one.
Day-to-day of the role:: You will:
- Review and evaluate existing learning and development programmes, including mandatory training and e-learning content.
- Assess the quality and effectiveness of learning interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
- Analyse learning data and management information to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Monitor mandatory training completion rates and support improvement initiatives.
- Produce meaningful reports and dashboards using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Translate data into actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support the design and development of learning journeys and career development pathways.
- Contribute to leadership development and wider people development initiatives where appropriate.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Help establish clear baselines and success measures for learning activity and organisational development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience within Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Development or a related field.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis and reporting.
Experience working with learning data, management information (MI) or performance metrics.
Knowledge of e-learning platforms and learning evaluation methodologies.
Experience assessing the effectiveness and impact of training programmes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
