Performance & Development Coordinator

Contract: Initial 3-Month Temporary Contract (with potential to become permanent)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive HR or L&D professional to join a growing business on an initial 3-month contract. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Working closely with managers across the business, you will play a key role in embedding and monitoring the company's performance development processes, ensuring managers and employees remain engaged with appraisals, probation reviews, objectives and regular 1:1 discussions. This role is less focused on traditional training delivery and more focused on driving accountability, tracking compliance and supporting managers to develop their teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Track completion of employee appraisals across the business and follow up where required.
- Monitor probation review activity, ensuring managers are following the correct process and supporting them where needed.
- Track regular 1:1 meetings and performance discussions.
- Produce reports highlighting compliance and non-compliance with performance management processes.
- Support managers in setting effective objectives for employees successfully completing probation.
- Maintain performance and development trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Identify areas where additional support, coaching or training may be required.
- Build strong relationships with managers to encourage engagement with performance development activities.
About You
- Previous experience within HR, Learning & Development, Talent, People Operations or a similar role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with data, trackers and reporting tools.
- Comfortable challenging and influencing managers to ensure processes are followed.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
