Summary: The Leadership Team Assistant will provide comprehensive support to multiple Tesco Business Leaders and Directors, focusing on effective diary management and cross-functional assistance. The role requires prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, organizing meetings, and managing travel arrangements. The assistant will also engage in administrative tasks and collaborate with various teams to ensure a consistent service level. This position is pivotal in fostering a culture of self-service among leaders while adapting to shifting business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage multiple Business Leaders and Directors' diaries, organizing and prioritizing their time.
- Arrange meetings, from simple 1:1s to complex multi-stakeholder meetings, ensuring all details are accurately inputted.
- Flag critical emails that may pose a business risk if not addressed.
- Work with third parties to organize national and international travel, seeking cost-effective arrangements.
- Collaborate with the Events team on large events for Business Leaders and Directors.
- Perform administrative tasks such as raising POs and visa applications.
- Provide flexible, cross-functional support across all Office functions, including absence cover.
- Adapt services to different divisions as needed, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

About the role
As a Leadership Team Assistant you will support multiple Tesco Business Leaders and Directors in achieving their priorities through effective diary management. Additionally, you will provide flexible, cross-functional support to assist colleagues so all Business Leaders and Directors receive a consistent service level.
You will be responsible for
- Majority focus on efficiently managing multiple Business Leaders and Directors diaries; organising and prioritising their time to make them as efficient as possible to support their work priorities
- Ability to prioritise & complete tasks in an ever changing fast-paced environment, ensuring all those supported receive a prompt and accurate service
- Arranging simple meetings from 1:1s to complex multi stakeholder meetings, taking accountability for location and all details necessary are inputted in the diary
- Flagging critical emails e.g. no response would pose a business risk
- Fostering a culture of self service where Business Leaders and Directors are confident, allowing LTA to focus on primary responsibilities.
- Working with third parties to organise national and international travel, always seeking the most cost effective and simple arrangements.
- Collaborating with the Events team on any large events for my Business Leaders and Directors
- Administrative tasks e.g. raising POs, visa applications
- Identifying and working with external agencies, focusing on great value for money
- Flexible, cross-functional support: Having capacity to support Business Leaders and Directors across all Office functions, including absence cover for my colleagues
- Work in a dynamic framework that allows for the reallocation of your services to different divisions as needed, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently across departments, aligning with shifting business priorities and demands
