Summary: The Lead Technical Architect role involves bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective governance, and guiding decision-making processes. The candidate will be responsible for translating business problems into technical designs while managing risks and complexities. Strong communication skills and experience with relevant technologies are essential for success in this position. The role is based on an initial 6-month contract with a Central Government client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure governance and manage risks associated with service assurance.
- Make and guide decisions involving managed levels of risk and complexity.
- Apply strategy using patterns, standards, policies, and roadmaps.
- Design systems that address business problems with manageable complexity.
Key Skills:
- Experience with written code (e.g., Javascript, TypeScript, Node, CDK).
- AWS experience.
- Strong communication skills for explaining architectural designs.
- Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Active or recently lapsed SC clearance is advantageous.
