Lead Solution Architect - Central London - Infrastructure Modernisation, Hybrid Cloud, Architecture Governance
TrinIT Talent are looking for a Lead Solution Architect to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Central London. This role falls In Scope of IR35 and is paying £600 per day.
Hybrid working, 50% on site. SC clearance is highly desirable, but being eligible to obtain it is fine.
Job Description:
This role sits in their Technology Strategy & Architecture function and supports tech modernisation projects within one of their central services towers. You'd be setting the architecture direction for infrastructure and technology change. That means current, transition and target state designs, HLDs, solution designs, roadmaps and decision records.
It's quite hands on with delivery. You'll run design workshops across cloud, networks, compute, storage, identity and security, assure designs from engineering teams and suppliers, and take recommendations through architecture governance. They want someone who will push back on lift and shift where it just carries old complexity forward.
Key skills:
* Significant experience as an infrastructure, solution or technology architect in a large organisation
* Delivery of enterprise scale infrastructure modernisation, from early shaping through to implementation
* Architecture depth in at least two domains across hybrid and public cloud, networks, datacentre, compute, storage, identity or cyber security
* Creating target architectures, transition states, roadmaps, HLDs and solution designs
* Strong grasp of non functional requirements such as availability, resilience, recoverability and security
* Architecture governance, design assurance and managing exceptions or waivers
* Experience in a regulated or security conscious environment
* Azure, Azure Local and TOGAF are all a plus
