Summary: The Lead Software Developer role requires a comprehensive understanding of various technical skills to both develop and support applications, particularly in .NET and associated technologies. Candidates with high-level security clearance are preferred, as security clearance is mandatory prior to appointment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support applications using .NET (web and Winforms desktop)
- Manage MS replication services and interact with Oracle connections
- Utilize C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and VBScript for application development
- Implement WebAPI and WCF services
- Work with MS Access and advanced VBA skills
- Handle RTF, PDF, FOP, and FO.NET formats
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, T-SQL, SQL stored procedures, and user-defined functions
- Utilize Oracle and PL/SQL for database management
- Use Visual Studio, including legacy versions, for development
- Integrate with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Manage source control with TFS and Git, including Azure DevOps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Develop web applications using HTML, JSON, XML, XPath, and XSLT
- Configure and manage IIS and Windows Services
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting
- Utilize SSIS for data integration
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET)
- Experience with MS replication services and Oracle connections
- Advanced skills in MS Access and VBA
- Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and legacy versions
- Experience with TFS, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, JSON, XML)
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide end-user support
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Windows Services
