Core responsibilities include: Defining and promoting digital, data, and technology strategies and standards. Overseeing performance and assurance processes, including budget controls. Building capability frameworks for digital and data professionals. About the Role: As a Lead Security Architect , you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing secure-by-design principles within complex systems and services. You ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across public-sector organisations and security specialists to develop innovative solutions and technical guidance. Main responsibilities: Engaging with stakeholders to identify security needs and implement solutions. Influencing teams and communities to adopt security best practices. Developing security design patterns and technical artifacts for a secure-by-design repository. Researching, creating, and communicating innovative security architecture solutions. Contributing to collaborative platforms to share and improve resources. Skills/Experience: Must have Git-Hub experience. Expertise in specifying security controls and developing reusable design patterns. Strong understanding of security design principles and current cybersecurity risks. Experience implementing security solutions across infrastructure, networks, and applications. Knowledge of cloud architecture and associated technologies. Familiarity with frameworks like Open Enterprise Security Architecture (O-ESA) and OWASP. Proficiency with collaborative tools, such as GitHub, and experience facilitating workshops. Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
