Summary: The Lead SAS Developer will play a pivotal role in a major government transformation programme, focusing on designing and delivering complex data integration and software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance SAS-based software solutions across enterprise systems
- Lead the implementation of robust ETL pipelines and data integration processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Take ownership of technical decision-making and contribute to programme-wide strategy
- Conduct testing, debugging, and optimisation to maintain high-quality deliverables
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Key Skills:

- Strong experience in custom application development and software engineering principles
- Proven capability with SAS DataFlux ETL tools

The OpportunityAs a Lead SAS Developer, you will take ownership of designing and delivering complex data integration and software solutions within a large-scale, multi-team environment. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will lead from the front-guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring best practice across the development life cycle.
