Summary: The Lead SAS Developer will play a crucial role in a significant transformation programme for a central UK public sector organisation. This position requires extensive experience in SAS development and the ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days on-site in Newcastle. SC clearance is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of SAS solutions for government projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in SAS best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in SAS programming and development.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.

- SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
