Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop procurement strategies for Consumables, Wheeled Equipment, and Cash and Banking.
- Manage a team of 4 procurement managers and oversee a large catalogue of operational products.
- Deliver high savings targets through robust sourcing events and supplier management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
- Develop and implement procurement category plans aligned with Tesco’s objectives.
- Supervise and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories.
- Conduct supplier reviews and address contract-related issues.
- Assess supplier sustainability and optimize service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Tesco’s Technical and Ethical standards.
- Follow the Business Code of Conduct with integrity and due diligence.
