Summary: The Lead Process Engineer is responsible for developing engineering deliverables for the Process and Utilities department, ensuring safe and cost-effective designs and operations. This role involves leading concept selection studies and engineering definition deliverables throughout all phases of engineering, including FEED. The engineer will also manage documentation and data in accordance with business management standards while fostering continuous technical and leadership development. A strong background in the oil and gas sector, particularly with floaters design, is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering deliverables for Process and Utilities department to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective Topsides and utilities design and operation.
  • Lead the execution of all engineering deliverables planned by line Manager.
  • Lead Concept Selection Study, Engineering Definition deliverables and FEED deliverables throughout all phases of engineering.
  • Lead preparation of MDR, calculation report, engineering analysis, engineering drawings and equipment/packages specification at conceptual, Engineering Definition and FEED level.
  • Review FEED and DDE deliverables by sub-contractors and revert comments as per business Management Standards.
  • Identify design changes in FEED and DDE deliverables by sub-contractors.
  • Plan continuous development for technical and leadership capability to support company vision and mission.
  • Carry out documentation and data management as per business Management Standards for Process & Utilities deliverables.

Key Skills:

  • Highly competent in engineering management with further benefits of floaters associated design.
  • Knowledgeable in associated engineering discipline design tools (HYSYS, MySEP, Calculation Spreadsheets for equipment sizing, line sizing etc.), design codes and standards.
  • Able to address design risk and shortfall.
  • 10 years of work experience in O&G sector.
  • Experience in floaters type design aspect is preferred (Conceptual Study, FEED and DDE).
  • Relevant recognized qualifications - Minimum bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Preference: Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with recognized professional body.
