Summary: The Lead PMO Analyst role is a fixed-term contract position based in Leeds or London, requiring hybrid working with two days in the office each week. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the change management community in the use and adoption of tools and processes.
  • Produce regular project/program level reporting.
  • Manage financial forecasting, tracking, and procurement activities.
  • Maintain and assure plans and manage dependencies.
  • Support risk, issue, and change request management.
  • Conduct program/project health-checks and post-implementation reviews.
  • Produce stakeholder updates and decision support materials.
  • Ensure governance forums are maintained and key artefacts are stored.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate required behaviors in line with role expectations.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a lead capacity within a Project/Program PMO team.
  • Service-oriented, adaptable, and resilient.
  • Hands-on knowledge of various delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban).
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and control.
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards learning and skill development.
  • Ability to work independently and develop new skills as required.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Planview, MS Project, Jira/Confluence).

Lead PMO Analyst – Fixed Term Contract

What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Portfolio PMO and Tooling Manager, within this role, you will support a range of planning, reporting and analysis activities to proactively aid effective management and delivery of programmes and projects. You will be assigned to programs or projects, accountabilities could include leading and/or supporting:

  • Supporting our change management community in use/adoption of tools, processes, practices ensuring expectations of DLG Change Journey and associated Change Standards are met
  • Producing regular project/program level reporting
  • Financial forecasting, tracking and management
  • 3rd party procurement and payment activities
  • Producing, maintaining, assuring plans and dependency management
  • Supporting the management and assurance of risks, issues, change requests.
  • Ensuring appropriate governance is in place and that quality assurance is conducted
  • Program / project health-checks and post-implementation reviews
  • Producing stakeholder updates, insights and decision support material
  • Formal governance forums, including ensuring key artefacts are produced, maintained and stored
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Pro-actively demonstrating required behaviours in line with expectations of the role

Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office

What You’ll Need
Experience of working as part of a Project / Program PMO team in a lead capacity
Service oriented, adaptable and resilient
Experience and hands on knowledge of a variety of delivery methodologies e.g. Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban an advantage
Strong attention to detail, quality and control
Willingness and an enthusiastic attitude to learn and build new skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
Experience in using project management and collaboration tools such as Planview, MS Project, Jira/Confluence
Microsoft Office suite especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams
