Summary: The Lead/Senior Packaging Designer at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty will play a pivotal role in the in-house design team, focusing on the ideation and development of packaging for beauty products. This position requires a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the beauty industry, with a strong emphasis on branding and packaging design. The designer will manage projects from conception to completion, collaborating with various teams to ensure innovative and market-leading packaging solutions. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design ideation and concept development for all packaging projects.
• Manage projects from conception through to completion.
• Present design evolution and ideation to the Director of Design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including NPD, Packaging Development, Copy, and Marketing.
• Communicate production requirements to Senior Creative Artworker and Packaging Manager.
• Participate in design and cross-functional meetings.
• Review colour/design-sensitive components of packaging.
• Mentor junior team members and set a good example for peers.

Key Skills:

• BA in graphic design or related field from a reputable design school.
• 6-8 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in the beauty industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong typography, design, and illustration skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in 2D rendering; 3D rendering skills are a plus.
• Ability to interpret briefs and manage projects effectively.
