Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, configuration, and testing of signalling network solutions
- Create high level network designs and functional design specifications
- Develop network architecture diagrams
- Design IP addressing and subnetting
- Create cable schematics and diversity plans
- Configure and set up networks
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing
- Perform on-site build and testing
- Execute integration and system testing
- Monitor progress of work packages and maintain design timescales
- Ensure all design work meets relevant technical and safety standards
- Assess technical accuracy and quality of tenders
- Support health and safety compliance
- Review and check network designs produced by others at similar or junior levels
Key Skills:
- Degree in an engineering or numerate discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of network communication systems and architectures (LAN/WAN, network security)
- Knowledge of systems engineering life cycle

- Cisco certification (CCNA level or above), or equivalent practical experience

The role reports to the Design Manager and involves contributing to both outline and detailed network designs, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will also support testing, validation and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Network Communications Architect, you will support the design, configuration, and testing of signalling network solutions, including:
- High level network designs and functional design specifications
- Network architecture diagrams
- IP addressing and subnetting design
- Cable schematics and diversity plans
- Network configuration and setup
- Factory Acceptance Testing

- Integration and system testing
You will also:
