Summary: The Lead Motion Animator for UX/UI will be instrumental in transforming static designs into dynamic digital interactions within a leading automotive company. This role focuses on enhancing the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) through motion and interaction design, contributing to next-generation in-vehicle experiences. The position requires collaboration with UX/UI designers and technical teams to ensure effective motion content delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in motion graphics and animation, particularly in digital product design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement motion design systems, micro-interactions, animations, and transitions across multiple digital platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to craft seamless, intuitive motion-based user experiences.
  • Partner with technical and software development teams to ensure feasibility and performance of motion content.
  • Maintain motion consistency across multiple screen types, applications, and interaction points.
  • Support creative operations and programme management teams to ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Present and articulate motion design concepts and systems to a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years’ experience in motion graphics and animation, ideally within UX/UI or digital product design.
  • Proficient in tools like After Effects, Principle, Framer, and similar motion/prototyping software.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles (e.g., timing, easing, choreography).
  • Skilled in storyboarding and sketching to express design intent.
  • Deep interaction design experience across various platforms and devices.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to communicate with developers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving design environments.
