Role Overview:

• Primary Responsibilities:

Key Skills Required:

1. Java Spring Boot: For integrating microservice patterns.
2. SOLID Principles & Clean Code: Ensuring maintainable, high-quality software.
3. Streaming Data: Familiarity with tools like Apache Kafka and AWS messaging/streaming services.
4. Database Skills: Proficiency with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo).
5. DevOps & AWS Services: Strong understanding of cloud and automation tools.
6. Front End Development: Some experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks.
7. Large-scale Project Delivery: Experience in successful, large-scale software project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SC Clearance: A requirement to be SC cleared or have lived in the UK for 5 years, preferably a British passport holder.

• Academic Background: Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications: AWS or Kubernetes certifications would be advantageous.
