Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a major government digital programme in Manchester. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable Back End services using Java and Azure. Ideal candidates will thrive in complex environments and contribute to user-centred public services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Back End services using Java, microservices, and API-driven integration patterns.
