Summary: Lead Fabric Data Consultant contractors are sought for a 6-12 month program focused on designing and implementing an Azure-Fabric based data lake for advanced analytics and business intelligence. The role requires significant expertise in data engineering and architecture, particularly with medallion architecture and data fabric design patterns. The position is based in the Merseyside area and involves a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be UK-based and able to travel to the client site 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a new Azure-Fabric based data lake, utilising medallion (Silver to Gold layer) architecture and data fabric.
- Ensure the platform supports advanced analytics and business intelligence through best practices in data management and architecture.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Silver to Gold layer medallion architecture, and data fabric design patterns.
- Experience in the Full end to end process of a MS Fabric transformation project.
- Strong knowledge of data lake architecture, modelling, integration, governance, and security.
- Experience of Data Quality/Governance.
- Proven experience migrating data from on-premise systems to cloud platforms.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ideally be MS Fabric Certified.
Salary (Rate): £575 daily
