About the Opportunity

The Sizewell C project will stand as one of the UK's largest new nuclear power stations, generating approximately 3.2GW of low-carbon electricity. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, high-value projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to governance and procedural standards.
  • Take accountability for the safe, compliant, and efficient EPC delivery, meeting all scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Manage Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) activities, collaborating with consultants and contractors for optimal solutions.
  • Act as the Client's Delegated Representative and NEC Project Manager, maintaining robust commercial and contractual arrangements.
  • Proactively oversee project interfaces and dependencies, identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, regulators, local communities, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Champion compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and CDM regulations, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Deliver accurate project reporting on status, SHEQ performance, cost forecasts, programmes, and risk management.

About You

  • Proven Project Manager with a strong background in safety, cost, programme, risk, and governance.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering major infrastructure engineering and construction projects.
  • Technical knowledge of the Electricity Transmission System or high voltage environments is highly advantageous.
  • Experience operating within regulated environments and established governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of CDM, health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Robust commercial and contract management skills across all project lifecycle stages.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Dynamic problem solver with a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.
  • Professional qualifications in project management, engineering, or construction management (APM, ICE, IET, CIOB, RICS or equivalent) are desirable.
