Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy
- Develop current, interim, and target state architecture blueprints across core domains
- Lead transformation of Legacy billing, revenue management, and campaign platforms
- Drive adoption of cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices architectures
- Enable improved customer experience through modern digital platforms
- Establish and maintain clear architecture roadmaps from current to target state
- Champion governance frameworks ensuring compliance, scalability, and sustainability
- Define and enforce standards across data, AI/ML, identity, and integration
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
- Lead architectural decision-making including vendor selection and build vs buy strategies
- Produce high-quality architecture artefacts and conduct design assurance reviews
- Design platforms supporting high-volume, Real Time and batch processing environments
- Enable advanced data capabilities including analytics, modelling, and virtualisation
- Support machine learning and AI adoption with appropriate governance and controls
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Delivery teams to realise strategy
- Influence senior stakeholders and align technology solutions to business objectives
- Lead proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities
- Ensure architectures deliver high availability, resilience, and security at scale
- Support systems handling millions of transactions and customer interactions daily
- Drive transition to domain-oriented, platform-based architecture models
- Mentor and guide architects and technical teams to uplift capability
- Embed best practices in architecture frameworks (eg TOGAF) and delivery approaches
- Promote standardisation while balancing flexibility across distributed teams
