Summary: The Lead Electrical Integration Engineer role in Plymouth involves supporting the design of integrated cross-site services, focusing on engineering capabilities during design phases. The position requires collaboration across engineering functions to manage interfaces and ensure a fully integrated facility design. The engineer will also report project status and lead discrete packages of work while addressing technical design issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Electrical Discipline lead for the project
  • Collaboration across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfaces
  • Collate and prioritise technical design issues
  • Undertake coordination activities to ensure a fully integrated facility design
  • Identify scope gaps and support resolution
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Package Technical Leads
  • Report on project status to Head of Department
  • Lead as intelligent customer on discrete packages of work

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (essential)
  • Electrical engineering background, preferably in power distribution (essential)
  • Knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards (essential) (i.e. BS 7671, BS EN 60204, BS EN 62305, BS EN 61000)
  • Experience in major infrastructure projects (desirable)
  • Experience in nuclear projects (desirable)
  • UK national, able to get SC (can start on BPSS)
  • Degree qualified chartered engineer (or significant relevant experience)

Lead Electrical Integration Engineer

Lead Electrical Integration Engineer to support the design of integrated cross-site services. The focus of this role will be supporting the engineering capability of the new systems through design phases.
