Summary: The Lead, E-Commerce Sales Analyst will oversee in-season product performance management and support future buying processes for the DTC E-Commerce channel. This role involves leveraging sales analytics to drive actionable insights, collaborating with merchandising teams, and optimizing inventory management to meet financial goals. The analyst will also establish key metric reports and align best practices globally to enhance forecasting consistency. A strong analytical mindset and experience in E-Commerce analytics are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage in-season sales analytics to drive actionable insights into product level performance.
- Support the merch planning and buying process for all categories within the E-Commerce channel.
- Establish, produce, and communicate monthly key metric report outs.
- Collaborate closely with regional merchandising and planning teams to build strategic forecast plans.
- Partner with the Global Digital Commercial team to align best practices across regions.
- Work with sales enablement to uncover risks and opportunities across the product portfolio.
- Drive visibility of category performance and react to in-season trends.
- Innovate processes and improve collaboration with global and regional counterparts.
- Manage product life cycle plans through end-of-life and ensure product mix availability.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Buying, Merchandise Planning, Sales Planning, or Demand Planning.
- 2+ years working within an analytics team focused on E-Commerce.
- Experience in the Sports or Fashion industry preferred.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage large data sets.
- Understanding of customer behavior, product lifecycle, and market trends.
- Organized and proactive thinker with experience in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lead complex problems and develop cross-functional relationships.
- Curiosity and a solutions-oriented mindset in navigating challenges.
